China’s stainless steel exports increased by 27% in May

Affected by domestic epidemic prevention and control, the export of Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai rebounded in May
From March to April, due to the widening price difference of stainless steel at home and abroad, the export steel traders reported that the export orders were well received, and the export delivery cycle was about 1-2 months. However, affected by the epidemic control in some regions in China, the transportation and shipment of some export orders are limited, and the delivery is delayed. Some orders are delayed to May to June.
In May, the increase of domestic stainless steel export provinces and cities was mainly reflected in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai and Guangdong Province. The export volume of Jiangsu in May was about 99000 tons, an increase of 39000 tons month on month, an increase of 65%; Guangdong’s export volume was about 77000 tons, a month on month increase of 28000 tons, an increase of 58%; Zhejiang’s export volume was about 72000 tons, with a month on month increase of 23000 tons, an increase of 46%; Shanghai’s export volume was about 26000 tons, an increase of 12000 tons month on month, an increase of 88%.
