In the production process of stainless steel coils and tubes, we often need to calculate the length of raw materials. Here, we will explain the calculation method for the length of stainless steel coils. The calculation method for the weight of stainless steel coils is as follows:
Width (m) * Length (m) * Thickness (mm) * 7.93=Weight (KG)
For example, width=1220mm, length=2440mm, thickness=1.0mm, 201 or 304 plate, its weight is as follows
1.22*2.44*1.0*7.93=23.606KG/PCS
If we know that the weight of the coil is 1000kg, the thickness is 1.0, and the width is 1219mm, the calculation method for the width and length of the coil is as follows:
Length (M)=Weight (KG) ÷ Width (M) ÷ Thickness (MM) ÷ 7.93
1000÷1.219÷1.0÷7.93=103M
