TISCO Group’s export growth in the first quarter is obvious

Since 2024, TISCO has adhered to the strategy of creating high-end and distinctive varieties, implementing differentiated product competition strategies, focusing on the advantages of technology and varieties, actively promoting structural adjustment, optimization and upgrading, and promoting the research and production of high-tech, high value-added and green low-carbon products. The export has maintained a good momentum of development.

In the first quarter, the steel export of TISCO Group was 293,000 tons, with a year-on-year growth of 82.9% and 30.0% respectively. Among them, the export of high-end and characteristic products such as stainless steel increased significantly year-on-year: the export of stainless steel wide cold and hot rolled coils increased by 41%, the export of duplex heat-resistant stainless steel increased by 482%, the export of ultra-pure ferritic stainless steel increased by 183%, the export of nickel-based alloy increased by 122%, and the export of high-grade pipeline steel increased by 489%.

In 2024, facing fierce international competition, TISCO further strengthened the leading role of marketing and driving force, strengthened the international market layout and channel construction, and broadened the cooperation fields. It also strengthened the tracking of key overseas projects, achieved early intervention, met new demands, and opened up new markets. It accelerated the construction of a full-process online carbon management platform, strengthened the research and development of low-carbon products and the construction of green and low-carbon brands. It also accelerated the export certification work of key products. The dual phase stainless steel hot-rolled medium plate, coil plate, steel pipe blank and seamless steel pipe series products have successively obtained international authoritative quality management system and product certification licenses, laying an important foundation for promoting TISCO’s high-end and characteristic products to enter the international market.
